KPMG Case Study

Corporate Communications was invited to provide a specialist writing course for KPMG. Two courses were held both spanning 3 full days starting at 8.30 and finishing at 5.30 each day. In addition the participants were given an independent task which they were asked to undertake in between the formal sessions and which formed the basis of their output on the final day.

As this was a writing course the participants used their laptops during the sessions and were required to write emails to perform certain tasks in English in real time. The tutors were fully engaged throughout giving feedback on individual activities as well as collecting data so that Q & A sessions were as useful and successful as possible.

A key benefit of the courses was the development of co-operation between the participants, which would feed into their everyday work and help them to do their jobs better.
